What kind of images?

This will delete all images that Excel considers to be a Picture:

Option Explicit
Sub DeletePictures()
  Dim myPict As Picture
  For Each myPict In ActiveSheet.Pictures
  Next myPict
End Sub

Click Here Before Posting Data or VBA Code ---> How To Post Data or Code.

I copied a webpage and pasted it into Excel. Since it copied all the images as well, I wanted to delete most of them (icons, small pics, etc). Since there are too many (hundreds), I don't want to click and delete each one.

Thanks for the reply. Am not adept on coding behind Excel though.

There must be a way to select all image objects and delete them right from Excel's (2003/2007) menu.

Found the solution.

For Excel 2003:
Select all images using the "Select Multiple Object" button and then Delete.

This "Select Multiple Object" button is found in the Drawing toolbar, but is not initially enabled. Make the Drawing Toolbar visible (View -> Toolbars -> Drawing). Then to enable the button, click the Toolbar Options (small droplist arrow at the end of the Drawing toolbar) -> Add or Remove Buttons -> Drawing -> (check) Select Multiple Objects.

For Excel 2007:
Select all images in the "Selection Pane" and then Delete.

The "Selection Pane" is found in:
Home -> (Editing Group) Find & Select -> Selection Pane

This will list all Images. I can't find a way to select all in the list but I can Control Right Click on each one and delete afterwards.

Thank you for your help... tp pay back... just discovered that if you go to "find and select" and get the list of image numbers. Just click on anything on the list and then control A. It will select all images and delete all at once.
