Comment:

I have a 486 laptop with W95 installed. It only has 16mB of memory. Two questions:

Q1. Can I successfully install W2000 over W95 and will it run ok on a 486? There is about 60mB free disc space at the moment but if I delete the W95 Cabs there will be about 130mB free.

Q2. How do I install W2K when the laptop only has a floppy disc port.

Note: The LT has a PCMIA port but I don't have a card for it. Could this be the best way though?

Thanks

and at least a Pentium 133mhz processor or better. Here's Microsoft's page for system requirements - http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/server/evaluation/sysreqs/
