I am trying to create floor plans of my office to track equipment. Now I know this is all possible, and I know how to import and link this to databases, but here is my question. Is it possible that when I move a shape (a piece of equipment) from one room on the drawing to another, the room number automatically changes in the shape's data?

I've imported an excel spreadsheet with equipment and room numbers, and I have no problem getting them to automatically fall into the room assigned to them on the spreadsheet. However, once I move the shape from one room to another, I noticed the room number in its data did not update to reflect its current location. Is there a way to have this automatically adjust?

Thanks for your help!

Are the shapes linked to the spreadsheet?
