Solved VBA formula to carry format with VLOOKUP

Hi everybody

I have been trying to find my way around getting VBA to carry the format of the result when using VLOOKUP. I am novice in VBA and struggling with no success.
Would you be able to help me out with that?

Is there any other way to combine values(and formats) from two different datasheets without using VBA?

Thanks a lot

This thread seems to address the issue and provides some example code.

I haven't tried it yet so I can't speak to whether it works or not.

Thanks for the hint Derby. Unfortunately it seems not to be working for my case.

I need to lookup values from two different sheets and copy, together with the result of the VLOOKUP, also the formulas which are linked to the relative cell.

Any hint on how to do that?

I actually managed to copy the formulas of the looked up cells by slightly changing the code ( from xlpasteFormats in xlpasteFormulas). However, being the sheet really big, it never gets to calculate all the values. It crashes half way. Is there a way to streamline the process?
And: how do I apply the code only in one sheet and not in the others?

Thanks again.
