You have not supplied enough detail for us to be able to help you.

In what application are you expecting this to happen?

Where will the list of the activities be found?

What to you mean by "add people to the reminder?

Anything else we need to know?

Sorry for not being clear.

My team of 6 people does activities based on workdays (for example activity 1 have to be completed on Workday 6, activity 2 have to performed between workday -(minus)-2 to -6)

I have about 40 activities(same activity have to performed for 20 countries). rather creating a checklist for team not to miss on any activity i am looking for a reminder option in outlook (2010,2013). which reminds the team to perform the activity once completed or pending a report can be generated.

Regards Uday

Sorry, but I do not have any Outlook scheduling expertise. Perhaps another member will offer a solution.

Good luck.

There are two options for this

1) Send an email to your colleagues with the details of the task
2) Send them a task via email for them to accept/Decline

Either way i'll need to know

1) Where your data is currently sitting (Excel I assume?)
2) How the data is laid out

Just an example of the code we can use to send a TASK item

Private Sub SendColleagueTasks()

    Dim objOutlook As New Outlook.Application
    Dim objTask As Outlook.TaskItem
    Set objTask = objOutlook.Session.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderTasks).Items.Add

    objTask.Recipients.Add "Email Addresses here"

    objTask.Subject = "Test"

    objTask.Body = "Please complete this task"

    objTask.DueDate = Now() + 1

    objTask.Close olSave

End Sub

Hi Always willing. yes the source is excel. I have found some code on ""http://www.slipstick.com/developer/create-outlook-appointments-for-every-xx-weekday-using-vba/" however for multiple tasks with multiple people is what i am looking for.

I sent you an email with sample attachment. Thank you in advance!!!

I am resurrecting this thread and am refreshing myself with the data, I am a little confused by the data you send me, can you tell me what this all means and what the code is supposed to do.

            A               B          C            D           E
          Date Subject Start Time	Owner Holidays
1 Every month WD 5        A        11:30	a@a.com   01/01/2016
2 Every month WD 15       B        3:30	        b@b.com   01/26/2016
3 Every month WD 16-20    C  	   12:30	d@d.com   03/25/2016
4 Every month WD -5       D	   2:30         e@e.com   03/26/2016
5 Every month WD 9        E	   3:30         f@f.com   03/27/2016

it is very easy to send email to each of the owners informing them that an activity needs to be carried out, however what conditions are there around this emails, I see you have Every month WD 5 etc

So are you saying that every month on week day 5 the email should be generated and sent?

please clarify
