Hi there.
This is a question I tried to ask on the Notepad++ forum, but it seems to be completely dead. So I will try to ask here if that is OK. So, I am using the program Notepad++, a replacement for Notepad with many nice additional features. I want to paste UTF-8 encoded letters (Chinese and Japanese kanji) into Notepad++, but it only works after I turn on the "Encode in UTF-8" and then make a new document.
Is there no way to make it work without having to do this every single time I want to paste my letters? Making a new document manually each time is kind of bothering me since I do this pretty often. Do note that I have set the program to use the Arial Unicode MS Font, which does support the letters I am pasting.
Thanks a lot for anyone that can help!
