using student office 2003 on a windows 7 system. I just bought a new laptop last week as my trusty old laptop was damaged. Unfortunately I had just 2 months earlier bought the complete microsoft office 2003 suite for it. Now I see I can't use/load my office 2003 on w7 and will have to buy another office suite for 7. The starter edition isn't fully useable and it bothers me that I just spent $$ for xp and am I out of luck using it for my new pc.. I've gotten different answers from local shops and Bestbuy. Sorry for such a question that may have an easy, understandable answer. I just don't want to screwup trying to put software on this laptop. Thank you Hans

You certainly can use Office 2003 on your Windows 7 computer, as long as the licensing is correct.

I run it, no issues.

Uninstall the Office 2007 and install your version.

worked perfectly. Thank you. had to use a program called REVO UNINSTALLER to finally get Office 2010 out. From what i've been read this is a known problem. Thanks again!
