Comment:

The company I work for sends email to our users containing a link to our webpage. For several users, clicking this link opens our webpage in Outlook itself instead of Internet Explorer. This causes problems in several areas of our product, so I'm trying to find a way to change the default web browser from Outlook to IE. There's got to be a setting for this but I can't find it. Anybody have any ideas?

Outlook isn't a browser. If the email is sent in Plain Text or RTF, it should allow for the user to either click on the link, or cut and paste it to his/her browser.

try: ie, tools, internet options, programs. tick the check to see if default browser box. The next time you open ie if it (isnt the default browser) it will ask you if you want to make it the default browser
