I need to know if there is a way of deleting an email from the recipients mail box that I sent by mistake. I am using outlook 2000
Please help
Thank you

There are only two ways I think:
1. Get to their computer before they do, and delete it yourself.
2. If you know their email login details and their email provider has a webmail system, then maybe you can login and delete it off the server before they download it.
Sorry I can't provide any more help - good luck!

the only way is havin hand on the mail server (exchange or the mail provider)to delete them .U must do as u'll do with a letter : capture the letter at the post office, or unlock the recipient postbox .U can't kill the mailman u don't see him walkin!

Look in the options. The feature is there somewhere. I am not on a machine with Outlook and Exchange but I have retrieved emails in the past.
So long as the recipient has not opened it you should be able to 'recall' it.Try the Help files.

I think ur way isn't possible. If the mail is still in the "to be send" part of ur mail soft yes, u can have it. But when u send ur mail, i mean "connected to the internet/office netware" u send it phisically on another server in a few seconds. No prog can allow u to go on a server and retreive the mail u sent or another one!Just because mailserver are secured , u must connect on the recipient server, with it's own password/identification to do this operation.....

If the item is still in your Sent Items folder, open it and go to the Actions menu and choose Recall this message

If both parties are using MS outlook (with exchange servers) then message can be recalled (deleted or replaced) with some fine print.
This may be late for you but just in case as an fyi. check this link ....
