Specs: Windows Vista
I have some old Excel files (from Office 98) that I copied onto my new system (office 2000). These files have unviewable data. When I open the files only about half the data/text is viewable on the screen. Once I manually (using arrow keys) scroll over the area, it will appear. Mostly just an irritant because the data will print even if it isn't viewable. The problem existed on my old system before I transferred the files as well. Is this a virus?

Strange, considering it prints.

Sounds like it could be a formatting issue.

Try selecting the entire sheet (click in the little box above the row numbers) then set the Fill Color to No Fill and the Font Color to Automatic.

Let us know.
