So on my old computer, I have Office 2010 installed. Very soon, I'm going to be using a different computer for all of my work. I have office Home and Student 3-PC with all 3 PCs activated. So if I uninstall Office 2010 from my old computer, will it deactivate the software allowing me to install it onto another computer?

If you have a valid license for 3 PCs, I would suggest calling MS Support and explaining what you are planning to do. They can give you the correct process so you can get it working the first time.

Planning is the most important part of any project. No sense in having to fix a problem later if a little planning will make it an easy transition.
