I'm attempting to uninstall Office 97 SR2 from a machine that also has Office 2000 on it. I've used the Add/Remove Programs tool with no luck and I've used Microsoft's Eraser 97 in Aggressive mode, also with no luck. Does anyone know how to get rid of it permanently?

Run Office 2000 again, and use the options in that to remove it. Remember how when you installed Office 2000, it asked would you like to keep your previous version, and you told it Yes? Well, this time when it asks, you want to say No. :)
