Comment: I got a strange error message today when opening Microsoft Outlook. I ignored it but it was something about not being able to find a configuration file. I hoped it would rebuild itself but am having a problem - I can open Outlook when I reboot my computer, but once I close it I can't open it again without rebooting (nothing happens). I thought that I would uninstall Office 2000 and reinstall to correct the problem, but when I go to Add/Remove programs, I see two entries: Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Disc 2 Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Premium Unless someone has a fix for my problem, what order should I uninstall the two? Does it matter? Will uninstalling one automatically install the other? If I uninstall, should I run any of the utilities to "completely uninstall" Office or is that unnecessary since I plan to reinstall?ce

Reply: (edit)If I run the repair function, will Office know whether any Office Updates need to be reapplied?
