Equipt is being discontinued 4/30. Microsoft sent a replacement CD with Office home and Student 2007. Instructions are to UNINSTALL Equipt first......instructions were normal that you use to uninstall any program. BUT Equipt won't uninstall.......called IT guy, he can't get it to uninstall.......can anyone help? Thanking you in advance....Sandy

I also am unable to uninstall Equipt. My system is XP. Any suggestions? There is also a trial version of Microsoft Office 2007 on my computer that has expired- this will not uninstall either. Error message received on Equit is: 0x20561108/0x00007572 Error message received on Trial version is: file corrupted

Although the description of this utility doesn't address your specific issue, I've seen the Windows Installer cause some strange problems on some systems.
You might running the Cleanup utility to see if it helps - it certainly won't hurt.
