Unexpected error from External database

Microsoft Office access v.2007
July 28, 2010 at 06:50:34
Specs: XP professional SP3
the full error message is as follows:

"Unexpected error from external database driver 8963"

there are several people who run a macro in access to make some changes(I am not sure what it is doing at all) but this one user is getting this error message. The other users have the same version of access and OS and they can run the macro with no problems.

a quick search on Google is telling me its a memo field error but with this macro not working on just this ONE users PC I Don't think its an error with the database structure itself...

Possible cause:

A) Local machine could not communicate with external database server
B) Local machine data source not configured correctly / messed-up.

Possible resolution:

A) Try to ping database server. Start > Run > type CMD > On the command prompt, type 'PING <server hostname>. If no destination unreachable, try adding that ip in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\host (open with notepad). If still could not communicate, try disable any firewall for the machine.
B) See http://goo.gl/KaSg to configure your DSN connection or try to recreate your .udl file here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...
