Hi
I had office2000 installed on my pc. Irequired some specific features of office-xp. So I installed Office -xp without removing old version. Now, whenever I open .xls files these open in office-xp. I want to set these defalutly oped on office2000. I have treid setting from tools-filder options menu, but it does not work. Pls suggest

Why are you running two different versions? There's no purpose in using two versions of any office program (until 2007, and even then,it's not recommended.) Uninstall the version you don't want to use.
