Unable to open MS Outlook

I am unable to open MS Outlook after it a profile had partially and erroniously set up. Now when opening MS Outlook it tries to connect to the exchange server, it cant (it's actually nonexistent), it presents 3 options (retry, work without connection, cancel). If I select work without connection, it closes the application. How can I just start from base and delete the profile that could have been created partially. Currently I am just unable to keep the application open so that I can access options, etc... Thanks. Maria
