Comment:

I am currently having two problems both in Microsoft Word.
1. I am unable to open a file that was sent to me via email. I keep getting an error and then a request for a file format change. I am running Office 2003
2. I have made forms in Word 2000 and when I open them in Word 2003 my hard points for the data fields are not displayed.
Please Help!!!!
thank you,
Ben Prunty

Just a SWAG here but I think you might need to download and install both the Office 2003 Converter Pack, and the Office 2007 converter pack as well. You can download these from Microsoft's web site for free
Please Note:

"This download provides file converters and image filters for Microsoft Office programs, from Office 97 to Office 2003. These additional converters and filters are for older or seldom used documents or image formats.

The Office File Converter Pack supersedes all previously released versions of the Office Converter Pack.

Note: This converter pack does not enable the conversion of the new Word 2007, Excel 2007, and PowerPoint 2007 file formats. To convert the new file formats you must download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint File Formats.

Additional converters for Corel WordPerfect are available optionally in Microsoft Office Word 2003. To access these converters you must customize your installation of Office 2003. to include these optional file converters available under the Add or Remove Programs option in Control Panel."

What is the filetype that you're receiving as the attachment?
