Hi, I have notice from time to time, I am not able to reopen my excel file. For example, after editing my excel and save it to file server, On the next day or after a couple days when I reopen the file from the file server, it will say, unable to read file. Has anyone encounter this problem before? If so, how did you solve this problem?

We have a person at our company who has the exact same problem. He is working with a large Excel file and so far it seems to be limited to one file.
Do you know if you are on an NT network or a Novell network. I am wondering if the issue is related to the way the file is saved on the server.
Can you please reply.
Thanks

Sorry for the late reply. We are currently on the NT network and we have no Novell network in our office.
