Unable to copy and paste

I am unable to copy a wholw worksheet to another new Xl file . whenever I try to dio it i found the "paste" button is grayed. I still can copy and paste data in the same file or worksheet but i am not able to doso in new files. can anyone help me

Have you tried the options available when you right click a sheet tab and choose "Move or Copy..." ?
I've never known them to not work (though be careful when you are doing this with sheets that have links to other sheets)

You should be able to do that but i think both files and whatever linked files need to be open during the copy and paste.

You might no be able to do that because the program might no let you copy and paste things to a different document. Or you might just have to reinstall it or copy again and then paste.
