Umax scanner fax?

I can't fax! I have a Umax Astra 3400 scanner/fax and a HP psc 1110 all-in-one (printer/scanner/copier)I have installed my astra scanner program and the Hp is installed also. they both test ok and are working fine but I can't fax anything. The Vista program says "Fax cannot be found" and an error oooo1. Can anyone tell me how to troubleshoot the problem?
