For manual duplex (two-sided) printing in earlier version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (such as 5.0) there used to be an option in the print dialog box. However, I find that there is no such option for duplex printing in Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0. It makes it very clumsy to get both sided printing of pdf files because it is not automatic - one has to first get the odd pages printed and then again one has to go to the print dialog box and then get the even pages printed over the other side of the pages printed so far. Moreover, in the earlier built-in duplex print option the printer used to exercise caution lest two pages are drawn in one draw during printing and thus disturb the whole printing exercise. Plz help me if there is any hidden option or otherwise to solve this problem.Abhijit

If you have a duplex printer, all you need to do is go into the Printer properties and set to either print on long edge, or print on short edge.

I am using ordinary HP deskjet printer. But, in case of MS Office print dialog boxes there exists an option for manual duplex printing whrein after printing the odd pages one gets instruction from the print dialog box to turn the same pages and thus two-sided printing is accomplished. In case of older versions of Acrobat Reader there used to be an option for two-sided printing which is missing in Acrobat Reader 7.0. As I've discussed in my first message, the two-sided printing has the additional benefit in that the papers are drawn by the printer more carefully to avoid drawing more than one page at one single drawal.
