You do not need a formula.

In Cell A1 enter the Date of 1-7-08
In Cell A2 enter the Date of 1-8-08

Now select/highlight both cell A1 & A2
On the bottom right corner of your selection area you will see a small black square, grab the square with your cursor and drag down, each of the cells will be incremented by one day.

it depends on regional settings in windows xp or 7 (control panel/regional settings).
If you are using english (amarican) set, you can fill date in excel as 1-7-2010 and then format of that cell should be automatically changed to DATE format.
After that you can drag(copy) cell bottom direction and next cell will be filled series by 1-8-2010, next 1-9-2010, ...
But in case another regional settings (other countries) you can have a problem with this.(As i have with SLOVAKIAN settings in excel 2003 (under windows 7 - enterprise).
Good luck.

Lui, thanks for the clarification, I was unaware of that problem.

So how would you do it?

If you don't want to auto-fill the dates everytime - e.g. if you are changing the first date on a regular basis, you can use a simple formula:

If your date is in A1, enter =A1+1 in A2 and then drag that down as far as you will need it.

Since Excel stores dates as numbers, with each integer being 1 day and fractions thereof being the time, adding 1 to a date adds 1 day.

Day 1 in most Excel installations is 1/1/1900

Currently, 12/2/2010 9:45:35 AM EST, it's Day 40514.4066550926
