By accident, spanish was installed in MS-Words 2003 Spell-Checker. It is interfering with my doc.
I use English & french. Spanish is now taking over everything & is driving me spare.
Pleeeeease, how can I Disable/ Delete/Remove the "Spanish" from "MS Words Spell-Checker" while retaining English & french?
Thank you in advance for your help

Hi Mike .
Thank you for your email.
What I want is REMOVE spanish from MS-Words Spell Checker .
In Tools / Language / Set Language, I get the Windows with English, French & Spanish ticked.
How do I remove the tick from Spanish?
[Right click does nothing! Dragging out doesn't work!]

The link is also for installing not disabling.

I have Googled in vain & searches MS Data-Base to no avail.
Short of deleting MS Office & re-installing it, I fail to see what else can be done;

However if you have a personal trick that may help me, I would be grateful as my Office 2003 Disc is partially damaged making reinstalling a bit dodgy.
Thank you.

A double click set it for me.

Have you tried the Set Default button on the bottom of the window?
Also you might try un-checking the Detect Language Automatically box.

Sorry can't be of more help.

Also, the check mark next to a language means it has been installed.

Hi Mike.
Thank you for new suggestion. I just returned from an unexpected trip & am catching up with my emails. I will give a go at the default option and let you known the outcome later.
Thanks again for your trouble.

It did the trick after I rebooted the PC.
A thousand "Thank you"s,
Blood pressure back to normal.

Glad I could help keep your pressure in check.
Now if I could figure how to keep mine in check, without giving up all the good stuff. :-)
