I have a document that I use to fill in names and dates on a pre-printed certificate. I use text boxes to fill in the information. I used to be able to print all of my certificates sequentually and they would stay properly aligned. Recently the text boxes have started drifting when I'm printing multiple certificates. I have to move the boxes after 4-5 certificates because the text keeps drifting up.
Not using form feed between pages? Then page height or line spacing has changed.
Hi, thanks for answering. My certificate is on a standard 8 1/2 by 11 sheet and I print each one individually. I'm not sure form feed would work with this and nothing in the document changes except the name that I enter in one text box and the date that I enter in another text box. The text boxes don't move and I don't change anything but the text. I'll keep fiddling with it. Thanks.
Thanks for your reply. The certificates are standard 8 1/2 by 11 sheets. I print each one separately. I have a text box that I enter the name in and a text box that I enter the date of certification. Previously, I lined up the boxes and tested them so they would print in the correct place on the form. I would do that each time we had a change in the printers but once I changed them, I didn't need to make any corrections until the next printer update. Today the text keeps drifting up, so I have to move the boxes down slightly after every 4-5 certificates.
If you print them 1 by 1 and use a page eject after each there should be no drift.
