Comment:

I have received Supercalc .cal s/sheets that I cannot open in Excel. I don't know whether these are from a dos based or windows Supercalc app. or what version these are derived from.

Can I convert these to Excel? If not, where can I get a copy of Supercalc and try to save these files into an Excel or related format?

Have you tried opening Excel and then go to File, Open and change the files of type to All file to see if you can convert it internally with Excel?

I have tried this but Excel opens the file in a illegible format.

It seems that my only option would be to get a copy of the Supercalc application and save as a Lotus 123 format. Then open this into Excel.

Any other suggestions or help?

Tks
