Hving trouble getting rid of the Error message
"Do you want to make a copy?" when opening Word files.

I've had this problem before, when backing up and re-installing the operating system.

Usually I just un click Read Only in Word Preferences, but since I've re-installed, I find that I un-click this option, save, but it comes back again!

NO matter how many times I un click Read-Only it comes back.

I'm using Office 07 Word with Xp, never had a problem before.

Also, it keeps asking me for my Word password twice.

Any clues?

Thanks

2007 is still in Beta. Perhaps that's one of the bugs that needs to be worked out before release.
