Comment:

I created a web form that allows user to attachment files (can be more than one),

after that, I used ADO/VBA to save the form info as well as the attachment into an Access 2003 database table. The corresponding field data type is OLE object for the attachment field.

When I open the db, I could not open the attachment by double clicking on it. It says "A Problem occurred while microsoft office access was communicating with OLE server."
The attachment was passed into the db field as "binary data" tough.

How could I solve this problem? Is there another way to work around this?

I read from the Internet that it's better to save the attachment as external to Access DB table, only store the path to it in Access DB table. This can avid the table from growth too big.

can anyone elaborates it more?

Thank you for your inputs.
