Startup in Outlook Today view

How do I get Outlook to open in "Outlook Today" view? I have checked the box that is supposed to make this happen, but it never does. No matter what I do, Outlook opens in "Inbox" view. Any ieas?

Have you tried to right-click on Outlook Today and looked at the properties? It should say Personal Folders.

Roger... I need more help. Do you mean right-click on the shortcut icon? When I do that, I only see "Internet Properties" and there is no "box" for "Personal Folders." When I right-click on the Outlook Today window, I only get options to minimize or close.
