Something is hiding my mails in OUTLOOK

Microsoft Outlook 2007

Specs: Windows XP
Hi, I have a problem recently with my outlook. I have lost my mails which were in inbox folder (not sub-folders). They exist because i can find them by searching. In search folder when i keep the mouse on one mail, it shows that the mail is inbox; but I can't see the mail. i don't know how to reach my hidden mails. If I had sent them to the sub-folders this problem wouldn't have happened. I need to add this point: The archive option is disable in my outlook.

Someone please help.

Click on the 'view' menu, select 'current view' and make sure
'messages' is selected - you may have inadvertently got 'unread
messages only' selected.
