Hi! I am using the Microsoft Office XP Professional 2002 Version of PowerPoint. When I type text on a slide, draw a box around the text, and then send the box behind the text, how do I group the text and the box together so they move as a unit if I decide to repositon the box on the slide? Thanks in advance for your help!

Select one otf them, then hold down the shift key while you select the other. Then right click and use Group off that menu. TIP: It's easier to do the right click with the mouse pointed over the box not the text, or the action *may* change to a text only selection by mistake.

Drag over both objects, or press and hold shift key and click on each, so that they're both selected. Then on the drawing toolbar, click on Draw, then Group.
