I'm interested in purchasing Office 2007, since the price for the Home and Student Edition is only $84.95 on newegg.com
But my question is simply should I wait for Office 2010 (Office 14) to come around? Does anyone have links to press releases talking about release dates of Office 2010? I've heard beginning half of 2010 (which is pretty much possibily a whole year from now) but does anyone have any info on this?
Thanks so much!
PS: Other things that might effect this decision is that I've heard that a 64 bit version of Office 2010 will be coming, which is good for me because at this point I plan on going with Windows 7, 64 bit.
PS-2: I am using Office 2003.
PS-3: I realize that the Home & Student edition does not contain Outlook.

Did you know that Office 2007 Home & Student Edition allows you to install it on three computers. No one knows whether Office 2010 will include similar edition
Meantime, Only YOU have to decide whether you will be better off buying Office 2007 now or wait until Office 2010 is released sometimes next year (no date has been set yet).
By the way Offioce 2010 will be M$ first to have it written for both 32-bit & 64-bit installation

If you can hold off then i would say do so because of 2 things. 1. You'll see the features of 2010
2. The price of 2007 should go down slightly.

WHY????
I have Office 2000 Pro, I've used the latest from Microshaft. A bit more glitz and flash but hardly nothing of substance has changed.
Keep what you have, leave the new models for those that have more money than brains.
