Hi, I read online that there is a way to share calendars in outlook 2000 without exchange but I haven't been successful and doing that. Would anyone know how to do this?
The steps were to select the folder, go file and share. Then to follow the wizard then you should be done. I've done that but on the receiving end, I never got an invitation.

Are you setting up a Net Folder for this?
On the user's computer who needs to access the shared Calendar, select File, Open, Others User's Folder, type the name of the user who owns the folder, click folder in the Folder type box, and then click OK.
Life's more painless for the brainless.

Hi Jennifer, yes I'm using net folders. I managed to set it up. I ran a test to ensure it was working but it doesn't seem to be updated correctly or timely. I created a new appointment in calendar (the shared net folder) and sent out an update. On the receiving end, a message was received but the calendar (shared net folder) won't update. I gave it several hours but nothing happens. So, I reran another test but still same results. Would you know how long it takes to update the clients?
Thanks
