Im not sure if this is possible but I have an Excel file on a network share and would like to set permissions for certains users to have access to certain cells in the spreadsheet. Please let me know. Thanks!

If your users don't mess with the User Name under the Tools...Options...General tab, put these in the ThisWorkbook module:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
  If Application.UserName = "Eva Destruction" Or _
     Application.UserName = "Della Gate" Or _
     Application.UserName = "N. Doverend" Then
'******Run Code To Allow Editing
  End If
End Sub

Private Sub Workbook_BeforeClose(Cancel As Boolean)
'******Run Code To Lock It Down
End Sub

Make sure you password protect the VBA module so your users can't alter/delete the code.
