In Excel 2007 go to Data, Text to Columns Select Delimited, Next, choose Space and finish.
It is similar in other versions so look for "Text to columns" or use Help to locate it.

Thanks a million.
Do you know how to select multiple cells that are not beside each other but are seperated by the same number of rows each. I've been trying using 'shift+f8' and selecting them manually but it doesnt seem to work when I scroll down or use 'page down'? Thanks again for your help.

Text To Columns only works on a single cell, or a range of cells in a single column, at a time.
It also needs room to the right to write the separated data. If there is data to the right of the cells, it will ask you if you want to replace the data in the destination cells.
