Send function in Outlook 2000 Gone!

In outlook 2000, my "Send" function & button are missing. If I try to use the shortcut, alt-s, the computer gives me a beep and the message will not get sent. Help!!

Have you run Office installation again, and opted for the Repair feature? You will need the Office CD you purchased and used for the original install, if you can't produce one, this will be the sole extent of my help.

Does this only happen with incoming messages or does it happen with New Messages too?
With incoming messages you need to either hit the Reply or Forward button first in order to have the Send button available.
