How can I disable Virus Scan of a particular office document rather that all.

I read the previous postings which are as follows.

Question:
Every time I open my documents in MS Word or Excel, the program shows "requesting virus scan...". It's very time consuming when I work only on my PC. How can I turn off this function so it doesn't scan files when I open them and turn it on when I want? Thank you.

Answer:
Open Norton Anti Virus. Open "Options"
Under "Other" open "Miscellaneous" and remove any check for "Enable Microsoft Office Plug-ins"

That should stop the automatic scans!

But, I want to know how to disable virus Scanning of a particular office document rather that all.

Have a Nice Day !
