I'm running Outlook 2002 (XP).

I'm having a problem: when I customize the current view settings for the taskpad (in calendar view) and set up a filter, it works but does not save that filter setting.

When I switch to another view (say, inbox, or outlook today), then switch BACK to calendar view, my filter settings are gone.

The Filter Window is switched to the "SQL" tab, and the box is checked that says "Edit these criteria directly. All other tabs will be unavailable." I can uncheck that box, and then redefine my filters again, but AGAIN it will not save those settings if I switch to another view.

Am I missing something? How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance.
TB

Try setting your filters, closing Outlook, then reopen.

Check your filters.

Outlook Express used to do this with e-mail settings. You had to close the stupid program and the reopen it or they wouldn't take effect.
