I run Office XP Developer version (English). Today both MS Word & MS Excel crashes when I try to save documents and spreadsheets.
I did not have any problem before the weekend (from home) but now the "Save As" dialogbox freeze each time when I try to choose a specific location.
Today I'm on my office and all my network drives are available. I cannot find any other program (except MS Office) that have this problem.
Yesterday the Office Update downloaded some security issues and these are the only thing I can think of which can do something wrong.

I'm sorry, I dont have an answer for you. I have suddenly developed the same problem. Everything else seems to work fine, but if I try to 'save as' any word document or XL spreadsheet, the hourglass of doom appears and the program crashes. You are not the only one, the search for a remedy continues.
