How do you remove the review screen and all the markings which I do not want? Was seeing what these were and now I can't get rid of them? Lines where all changes were made, underlining, red ink, etc.

Would you like us to guess which application you are talking about or do you want the steps for every possible application so you can pick the one that fits your needs?

I'm not sure what you mean by application - I was using Word 07 and inserting pages from other Word documents - making a 75 page document. It is showing the changes I made and even though I remove them when I'm working on the document, after I close out of it and reopen, the marks are all there again.
I'm obviously not sure of what I did - if it was in reviewing or formatting.

Sounds like MS word to me...

In word 2007, it's in the "review" tab. Around the middle of the
tab, you'll have an option with "track changes" selected.
Unselect it. Also to the right of this you'll have "Final
Showing Markup". Drop this down and choose "final".

Word 2003, same thing but you need to manually add the
"reviewing" toolbar from the View menu

That's exactly what I meant by "application".

http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/A/app...

Word, PowerPoint, and many other word processing and presentation applications have "review modes" such as the one you described.

When you post a "How do I...?" question, it's helpful if you include the application you are working with so that we can narrow in on a solution.

I'm glad you solved your problem.
