I did up a document in word with pictures inserted etc. The initial source of the pics in a documents folder have somehow disappeared :( So I thought I could retrieve them from the word journal and return them ??? I click on the picture in word, I get the little boxes on the corners and sides of the picture but right clicking or going to file to get the "save picture" function does not happen. How can I get copies of the pics I want, back to my documents if I can ?? Thanks

Right-click on the photo. Then copy it to your Photo Editor (Paint, or whatever else you're using). You can then save it as a graphic.

When I paste the pic to paint, the pic
is smaller than than the square there. When I save it from there to my documents, the large square with partial pic is saved
which makes it un usable when placing it in text again ??? The text wraps around the large square

I emailed the entire journal to myself, then when clicking on the pic I couldnt get "save Picture as" just the cut copy paste ?? Not sure what Im doing wrong here ?? Vic

Jennifer can probably tell you more than I can about this but try revealing the codes for the document and see what attributes are associated with the picture.

It may not be in a traditional photo format.

Larry your suggestions are appreciated but above my capability. Perhaps I can go back and explain why I made the initial requests.

A friend offered to upload my journal (in WORD with text and pics) to a free website. Unfortunatley the text uploaded but the pics did not! So this is why I was trying to lift the pics from the orginal journal, to a folder so they could be uploaded.
Perhaps we should be attempting to upload again and fix why the pics didnt upload??
Why do you think the pics did not upload with the text?? Maybe thats an easier fix for me ?
