reset the seconds only to zero

i have an Excel sheet with the time format 12:39:57 PM and i need to reset all the seconds to zeros to be 12:39:00 PM in all cells

Try this: =A1-SECOND(A1)*0.0000115

After a little thought, I think a better formula to use would be: =A1-SECOND(A1)/86400 since 1/86400 is 0.0000115740740740741 not 0.0000115.
