Removeing Programs

OS: Windows 98SE
CPU/Ram: Intel PIII 500 Mhz 256 Mb

Ive tried to remove MsWorks 2000.Its removed from computer but its still in add/remove programs.When i try to remove it it ask for disk.I put disk in and it starts uninstalling i get an error message.Is there any other way to get this out?

I use Xsetup from www.xteq.com, which is a tweak tool with the option to edit the entries in the Add/Remove list.

Using Windows Explorer go to
C:\Program Files and see if there is a Folder saying MSWorks or similar and delete it.

Try using Regseeker. It can remove entries from Add/Remove and clear your registry for that program.

I would use Regcleaner. It works like a charm!!! It's available for free at Download.com. That will purge it. Works everytime...
