when i start excel 2003 it pop up a message "cannot find C:\program files\office 2003.....\analysis\funcres.xla" . earlier i had removed the funcres.xla from this location. please help

yes. i feel it was infected with some virus thorough addin file to hide formula that i downloaded from internet and it run every time i start excel. Thanks for your reply. but i need analysis tool pack. i.e i don't want to uncheck it. any solution?

You could try on the Task Bar, Help, Detect & Repair and if that does not work, then try a reinstall.
