Can anyone please tell me how to remove duplicate records from Access 2000. I have a database with over 400,000 records and I have a lot of duplicates. Whats the easiest way to do this.

I don't know Access well enough to help but the folks at OzGrid Access/Excel forum board have written macros for me to remove duplicates in Excel and I'd bet they can do the same (similar) for you for Access.

This is very simple now, actually. Create a new query from the table. Use the "Find Duplicates Query Wizard." Just follow the prompts. You can access this from the toolbar. Open the Queries Window. Select "New" and then the Find Duplicates Query Wizard.
