OK, is there a way to prompt users the first time their profile is created to register as the "User" of OfficeXP products. The RegUser key is not an expanded key, and cannot accept the %username& to reflect the current user. Can this be done, Office registers me as the user when I am logged on and someone else when they would be logged on?

I'm not sure if you aren't mistaking "Registered User" - the legal owner of the product, with "Logged on user" - the person who is currently looged into the service? The first is not intended to be changed, no matter the version of Office.
