Solved Refer to a Range on an External Closed Worksheet (VBA)

Microsoft Office excel 2003

Specs: Windows XP

In my code instead of referring to a sheet internally, I need to refer to a sheet externally which is also, preferably, closed.

I was wondering what the syntax of a reference to an external sheet is.

An example: sheets(1).range("F2") = myCar
Instead of referring to sheet1, I'd like to refer to sheet 1 of a SEPARATE workbook with the same criteria.

Thank you,

John Walkenbach has a great tip here:

If I recall correctly, it will work with the workbook Open or Closed. If the workbook is Open, it will return the current value of the range, even if that current value has not yet been saved.
