Our company is having issues with Outlook generating an error report. We recently installed WorkgroupShare that allows sharing of public calendars, contacts, notes, etc. This software uses the Redemption Helper Outlook Extension add-in plus there own COM add-in. When the error is generated in XP the details of the error state:
I can run regsvr32 for the redemption file and it seems to fix the problem for a couple of days at most. Has anybody out there experienced this problem also? Not all of our pc's with this have encountered this problem but it seems to be popping up more and more.

It is possible that your software has installed an older version mfc42.dll.
I don't have Outlook on this machine so I can not check to see the correct version. But, if you can locate and replace the current mfc42.dll with the correct one it may resolve your problem.
mfc42.dll ModVer: 6.2.4131.0 is the same version I find in my I386 folder but is different then the one in the C:\I386\ASMS\6000\MSFT\VCRTL folder. It is version 6.0.8665.0. I don't know which version is required to be in the Outlook folder.
