Comment:

How do I recover overwritten earlier time wise versions of WORD files on VISTA? My old system use to have an option to look at earlier in the day, etc. versions of a file and retrieve those but I can not find this option anywhere on my new VISA. All the recovery software is looking for deleted files but not OVEWRITTEN files. The file was not deleted just overwritten. Does anyone have a clue on how to do this?
Thanks VERY much!
Judy

What version of Word are you using? Do you have versioning enabled?
