I've recently installed Ubuntu inside of Windows and am trying to get a functional DVD player installed inside of it. I've downloaded Real Player and a few others but can't get any of them to work. I followed the directions included in the help section of Ubuntu, but it just isn't happening. I asked about the problem in a yahoo linux chat room and got a quick answer that went over my head. I'm new to linux and only understand a few of the commands so far. I need the solution typed out somewhere I can refer to it again and again until it works (like here :)
